The Tuputupu Grow Northland Initiative was developed in response to evolving challenges across the primary and associated manufacturing sectors in Taitokerau Northland, where a high degree of uncertainty resulting from impending changes both within the farm gate and from external factors require an innovative way forward for the region.
The status quo of doing nothing is no longer an option. Adaptation and innovation in the primary and associated manufacturing sectors is critical to ensure the people and environment of Tai Tokerau can thrive into the future.

Purpose
To assist landowners identify optimal future-focused land uses, including adapting current operations to cope with climate change challenges and opportunities, and to enable the commercialisation of new primary based products and services.
