Ngawha Springs

Things to do

Nestled in the heart of Te Tai Tokerau, Northland, our springs have a long history of being a healing place to visit. We invite you to bathe in the healing waters at Ngawha Springs.

Throughout the centuries, many visitors also travelled, from near and far, to soak in the healing properties of the thermal waters. Each of our geothermal pools have their own unique characteristics and healing properties with differing temperatures, colours and minerals. Our public springs comprise of 16 geothermal pools, they are our connection to nature and to those who have come before. Feel the warmth and intimacy of Papatuanuku as she wraps around you, restoring the eternal connection between you and the natural world. As its caretakers, it is our privilege to not only share this wellness experience with you but also safeguard and protect the waters for future generations to come.
