Northland Ferries operates the Hokianga vehicle ferry between Rawene and the Narrows, 4km south of Kohukohu. The short crossing on the Kohu Ra Tuarua ferry links the two sides of the remote Hokianga Harbour on Northland's west coast.
The ferry service operates seven days a week, with departure times shown on our website.
Please note at peak times the ferry may change to “shuttle” mode.
During these times the timetable may be suspended and sailings will be more frequent.
