These kiwi boats are a great way to get out & enjoy the Bay of Islands on a yacht for about the same cost as just your accommodation ashore. The boats are fun to sail with a balanced rig, spacious cockpit & lifting keel giving you plenty of cruising options. Think camping afloat, the yachts have basic accommodation with good sitting headroom, a galley on the starboard side & a table that drops to make a double berth on the port side. There are also two generous quarter berths aft & a separate head in the forward cabin. Charters are usually two to five days. To ensure safety & comfort you can choose to have an instructor aboard on day one to refresh skills. All Maritime New Zealand safety equipment & cruising essentials are supplied.
