MAKING YOUR WAY TO NORTHLAND

NZTA Waka Kotahi are undertaking important upgrade works on State Highway 1 through the Brynderwyns, due for completion in late June 2024. While works are underway, Northland remains open and ready to welcome visitors via three detour routes. Don’t just follow the stars, plan ahead to make the most of your trip to Northland by visiting the NZTA Journey Planner website, where you’ll find all of the latest roading information to make your journey a safe and enjoyable one.
