    Pam Jenkinson

    Investment Lead

Born and raised in Liverpool, UK, I made the move to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2003. After 17 years in Tāmaki Makaurau, I headed to Northland in 2020 to what feels like my spiritual home. There’s nothing quite like driving over the Brynderwyn Hills and seeing beautiful Bream Bay and Whangārei Heads come into view, that’s when I know I’m home.

I’ve worked across the public and private sectors in both the UK and New Zealand, and I’m delighted to be back in economic development, a space I genuinely love. I spent several years with ATEED as part of the Invest Auckland team, so getting to work on projects that could make a real difference for Northland feels very special.

My career has not followed a completely straight line. Back in Liverpool, I worked as an audio engineer before touring the UK with several theatre productions, which was every bit as entertaining and unpredictable as it sounds.

Outside work, I’m a mum to four fur babies and can usually be found with my family exploring local parks and beaches. I’m also a devoted Liverpool FC supporter, which means far too many early mornings, strong coffee and the occasional one-way conversation with the television.
