Head of Strategic Communications
I grew up on the Kāpiti Coast, near Wellington, but I’ve called many places home since then, including Motueka, Queenstown, Gisborne, Melbourne, London and Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. I moved to Northland in 2020 and have found my forever home here.
As Head of Strategic Communications, my mission is to tell you about the work of Northland NZ, but also to tell the stories of many extraordinary Northlanders. I’m a hands-on creative, conceiving and producing content online, for social media, newsletters and video platforms. I’ve worked in local government, journalism and, for many years, in television production, so my mix of corporate and creative communications experience is pretty unique.
I love the outdoors and planning adventures that involve camping, paddleboarding, kayaking, cycle trails or exploring beautiful places. Any time that involves photography, travel and meeting new people is also up there for me. When it comes to downtime, you’ll find me reading, creating something crafty or circling the turntable.
