A Real Kiwi Experience

A recent group of international students from Whangārei spent the best 24 hours ever on board Rock the Boat in the Bay of Islands... and with just 19 passengers and crew, they managed to represent 10 countries from around the world... Sweden, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Australia, Chile, Italy, UK and of course New Zealand!

They went snorkelling and kayaking, saw dolphins, did a spot of fishing and some star gazing. Luckily, the springtime weather behaved and it was an amazing time with a lot of firsts for many of the students.

These included: first time on a boat, first time in a kayak, first time fishing, first time snorkelling, first time eating kina, first time sleeping on a boat, first time seeing dolphins, first time playing pool on a boat.
