This month we're delighted to welcome Melanie Vezey from Loud & Clear Communication. 

We all know that we get asked what we 'do for work' in all sorts of places - waiting in line, attending a training or event, going to a committee meeting, waiting at the doctors, in family or social situations and of course, in business.

Melanie has worked in the field of communication all her life.  From a young girl growing up in Canada who felt 'scared of the world', Melanie is a self-taught speaker who started saying 'yes' to opportunities that put her outside of her comfort zone.  She's been residing in Northland for most of the 26 years she's been in NZ, sharing her passion for communicating clearly and concisely with individuals and business leaders.  She believes that when we speak well we lead well, and she's dedicated her business to helping grow confident leaders.  Melanie has two adult sons and lives on a shared property north of Whangarei where she is active in developing a self-sustaining lifestyle.  She feels deeply connected to the land, loves getting out in the garden, and takes care of herself with regular meditation, yoga practice and a commitment to lifelong learning.     Public speaking doesn't come easy and when we're asked to speak up about our business or organisation, we might experience an unpleasant feeling in our body, wobbly legs, squirmy tummy, sweats and so on.  You know that you really are the best person to talk about your products and/or services, and to do this in a succinct, confident and clear manner is a learnable skill.  Melanie is testament to this.
