Let's welcome Camila Chicon (Afriky) from Waiheke Island and Sidharth Pagad (KrakotoKra) from Waiuku to Whangarei for a West-African style Dance and Drum workshop, hosted by Mariska moves. How wonderful would it be to experience something new: African dance with live drumming and the chance to learn to drum yourself. The day will look like this: 10am Arrival 10.10am Opening circle, focus and intent, warm up with Mariska (Nia Black Belt teacher) 10.30am African Dance with Camila 12pm Lunch break (including healthy snacks) 1pm Drumming with Sidharth 2.45pm Dance/drum combo 3.10pm Relaxing, stretching/meditation with Camila 3.35pm Closing circle, body gratitude, stepping out with Mariska 4pm Finish Drums will be provided. Healthy snacks and refreshment are included.
