Wairere Boulders is a private nature reserve with amazing rock formations. We offer walking tracks, kayak hire, a campsite, as well as kids activities, giving the whole family the opportunity to explore this unique landscape.
On our tranquil farm we offer visitors a chance to explore the unique environment of the Wairere Boulders. Walking trails through the bush and Wairere boulder valley allow visitors to get close to nature and discover these amazing rock formations. Millions of years of gentle erosion under the kauri forests have resulted in extreme "fluting", and a fascinating network of trails have been created through the valley.
When the days are hot you can take a dip in our bush pool swimming hole or hire a kayak and paddle through the valley and out into the Hokianga Habour. At the end of the day you can relax in your tent or camper and experience this tranquil oasis overnight.
