With food, we will thrive
Join us for an incredible culinary experience celebrating Puanga Matariki at The Duke of Marlborough, Bay of Islands.
Tohunga Tumau returns for the third year with an all-star cast of Māori master chefs that includes the Hangi Master, Rewi Spraggon, award-winning sisters Kārena & Kasey Bird, Tama Salive (The Duke of Marlborough Executive Chef) and Liam Tito-Salive (Charlottes Kitchen Head Chef).
This evening of fine dining featuring the best of modern Māori cuisine, entertainment and culture will be a night to remember and includes a Canape Reception from 5.30pm followed by a 4-course meal, designed and prepared especially for Puanga Matariki by our master chefs who will each introduce their dish.
Each course will be matched with a superb Northland or Māori produced wine and music from the legendary Dennis Marsh.
