Punanga: Dance Performance - ArtBeat 2025

Punanga is a work in development—a rich collection of dance, movement, and original writing, collaboratively choreographed and performed by Jazz, JJ, Tahlia, Holly, and Ayesha. Developed through the Emerging Leaders in Performing Arts series—an initiative hosted by ONEONESIX since January—this performance reflects months of exploration, skill-building, and creative risk-taking. The Emerging Leaders Collective have supported the piece by crafting original soundscapes and written elements, adding depth and texture to the work. Guided and held by Gabrielle Thomas, Punanga is a powerful expression of collective storytelling and the evolving voices of the next generation of artists.
