Photography by Nimmy is a Whangārei based photography studio offering personalised photographic experiences across Northland. Visitors come to this region for its landscapes, culture and community, and photography is a beautiful way to remember it. Whether someone is travelling with family, exploring the arts, celebrating a milestone or enjoying a once in a lifetime trip, I create imagery that feels relaxed, honest and meaningful.

I work with couples, families, artists and businesses who want photos that feel true to them. My approach is calm and friendly, and I focus on real connection rather than stiff or uncomfortable posing. People often say they felt at ease straight away, which is exactly what I aim for. When people feel comfortable, the imagery becomes more authentic and the experience becomes part of the memory.

Visitors can book sessions such as family portraits, couples photography, holiday storytelling sessions, or creative portraits around some of Northland’s most iconic locations. Beaches, forests and small coastal towns all make incredible backdrops for natural photography.
