Photographic Darkroom Printing Workshop

Learn (or remember) how to print a black and white photograph, from film negatives, in an analogue darkroom. This workshop will take you through everything you need to know about the analogue print process- to produce a quality silver gelatin print from one of your own negatives. You will spend 3 hours in the darkroom (on 8 Oct and again on 5 Nov).

During these sessions we will cover selecting the best negative to print, how to operate an enlarger, test printing, controlling exposure, controlling contrast, and producing a final quality 8 x 10” print. Photo paper and darkroom chemicals are supplied as part of this workshop - you just need to bring your own black and white negatives to print and lunch.
