Paheke is a historic homestead, built in 1862 of pit sawn kauri and is Heritage NZ listed. Paheke gives people the rare opportunity to stay in a historic home, in luxury accommodation, in peaceful, rural, Bay of Islands, Northland.

Paheke, built in 1862, in the Bay Of Islands is a Historic Places Trust listed building. The old homestead is set in three acres of peaceful gardens with a stream and filled with bird song and shaded by enormous old trees. The homestead is surrounded by verandas and is filled with antiques. Accommodation consists of two luxury king suites, and a queen suite all with ensuites.

A fully cooked breakfast is served in our formal dining room, a three course meal with wine and picnic lunches are available upon request.
