Our workshop begins with a grounding session of: Mantra based meditation – Creating space, centredness, intention, and a grounding of the mind and body for the day ahead. Everything in creation is sound or vibration, and according to Vedic tradition, the first sound to emerge from pure consciousness is AUM(OM), which then diversifies into all other sounds. There are thousands of mantras, each having its own value in restoring balance and harmony in our lives. In this session we will focus on simple mantras synchronised with the breath taking us from activity to stillness, to calm the nervous system. Mechanics of Breath Breath-work we engage in to awaken the body and mind, we'll break down the mechanics of your breath, providing you with the foundational knowledge. Build Fire in your Belly Energising Ayurvedic yoga session designed to bring heat to the body through warming Asana, Pranayama, and other purifying practices to promote healthy digestion, and massage the intestinal tract. Suitable for all levels – modifications offered. Functional Breath-Work Journey We'll dive deep into a breathwork journey, exploring a variety of styles, modalities, and cadences. This comprehensive approach allows us to tailor the experience to meet your individual needs, ensuring that you gain the most from each breath you take. Whether you're looking to enhance your athletic performance, control stress and emotional states, or simply improve your health and well-being, this session will equip you with powerful, scientifically backed techniques to achieve your goals. By incorporating a wide range of breathwork practices, from the energizing to the calming, you'll leave with a toolkit of methods to support your journey towards optimized breathing and, by extension, an optimized life. Light lunch and snacks break Contrast Therapy Contrast therapy, where you will experience the invigorating interplay of the sea/ ice baths and sauna sessions. This practice is rooted in the principle of alternating exposure to extreme temperatures to stimulate your body's natural healing processes. By switching between the calming heat of the sauna and the refreshing chill of the ice bath, you'll encourage your blood vessels to expand and contract, enhancing blood flow, reducing inflammation, and revitalizing your nervous system.
