Oktoberfest

As the sun sets, the Big Weekend vibe shifts into full Oktoberfest mode. The incredible Little Oompah Band takes the stage, blending traditional German classics with crowd-favourite hits—oompah style. Expect foot-stomping fun, beers raised high, and a festive atmosphere that rolls late into the evening.

This Big Weekend event is part of the month-long Savour Northland celebration of the regions food and beverage, so all our great local beers will be on tap, with PhatHouse Brewery, QBrew, Heavens Brewery and McLeods, plus Northland wines and spirits available all night.

The Bay of Islands Big Weekend will take place in The Pavilion, a mega 1200sqm marquee, located close to the tourism hub of Paihia.
