Northland Fritter Festival 2025

Immerse yourself in the mouthwatering world of fritters, as local cafes, restaurants and food trucks compete for the prestigious Best Fritter Trophy and the Pak'n SAVE Whangarei People's Choice award (voted by you!).

Featuring an outstanding line up on Kora, stellar* and Lost Tribes Aotearoa, The Crooked Cops, 5K and more to be announced!

Sip on a glass of chilled wine or beer from Northland's finest vineyards and breweries all while enjoying the festival atmosphere.

Payment for food and beverage is by EFTPOS, Paywave and Credit Card, (no cash at the venue bars).

This is an event you won't want to miss, brought to you by the Northland Events Centre (2021) Trust.

Bus Tickets:

Five special bus services will be provided for the event. Bus tickets must be purchased with a Fritter Festival ticket. A separate bus ticket will be issued to present to the driver.

All buses are due to arrive at Semenoff Stadium, Okara Drive, Whangarei between 11.30am– 12.00pm and will depart Semenoff Stadium from Okara Drive straight after the festival finishes at approximately 8pm.

BUS SCHEDULE:

Route 1: Matapouri to Semenoff Stadium Return

Pick up points and departing times: Matapouri dairy 11am, Tutukaka Service Station 11.15am, Ngunguru dairy 11.30am

Route 2: Whangarei Heads to Semenoff Stadium Return

Pick up Points and departing times: McLeods Bay The Deck, Reotahi Rd 11.15am, Parua Bay School 11.25am, Parua Bay Tavern Car Park, 11.30am, Onerahi Tavern Car Park 11.45am

Route 3: Mangawhai to Semenoff Stadium return

Pick up points and departing times: Departs Mangawhai (Bennets Choc Factory) 10.30am, Waipu Cove dairy 10.50am, Waipu Fire Station, Nova Scotia Drive 11.00am, Ruakaka shops 11.30am.

Route 4: Kerikeri to Semenoff Stadium Return

Pick up points: Kerikeri, Kawakawa, Hikurangi, Kamo (specific pick up locations and times to be confirmed).

Route 5: Wellsford to Semenoff Stadium Return

Pick up points: Wellsford, Kaiwaka, Bottom of the Brynderwyns (South), Ruakaka, (specific pick up locations and times to be confirmed).

Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions of Sale:

No refunds or exchanges on any ticket except as required by Law.

A ticket must not be used for any promotional or commercial purpose (including competitions, advertising or promotion whether for business or charity) or bundled with any goods or services (including as part of any hospitality or travel package) without Northland Events Centre (2021) Trust's written authorisation.
