Northland Dive
Things to do
In 1997 Northland Dive’s origins began when Shane & Julia bought an old 100-acre dairy farm. The disused cowshed would be their base from which to dive the Bay of Islands. Over time, the shed was transformed. In 2007 they instigated & organised the scuttling of the HMNZS Canterbury in Deep Water Cove as a fabulous, easily-accessible wreck dive by Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB). Over their 20+ years of experience in the industry in the Bay of Islands, they have discovered a variety of incredible dive spots suitable for a range of experience levels & fostered an active & enthusiastic community of both recreational & technical divers. Four years ago Northland Dive added Sun Spy to their fleet so customer can now overnight at the Poor Knight Is.
