Join Whangarei District Council Road Safety team to celebrate Puanga Matariki with a free, whānau-friendly Ride & Roll Parade!

Decorate yourself and your wheels with LED lights, UV fabrics, and glow gear.

Starting outside the Whangarei Library and parading around Cafler park. Spot prizes, games, and wheelie good fun for all ages.

Bikes, scooters, skates, mobility devices — all people-powered wheels welcome!

No lights? No problem! Join our Decoration Station from 5–6pm to get parade-ready.

After the ride, explore the Night Library.
