Matariki Art Exhibition - Opening Event

MATARIKI 2025 EXHIBITION!

Do you live near Whangarei, can you get to the Town Basin this June, if so you are in for a real treat! Drop into the Reyburn House Art Gallery and Shop, situated right next to the kids playground, to feast your eyes on this year's Matariki Exhibition from a selection of our wonderful Northland Artists.

Each artist submitting for this exhibition has a special tie to Matariki, with their work celebrating renewal, remembrance, and creativity through their art. To celebrate the opening of this exhibition we are holding a special community get-together and would love if you would join us and the artists for this special event.

No booking required, just turn up and join in! If you would like to join in at the start, we will be holding a small blessing in front of the Gallery before we invite everyone to enter together. Enjoy a walk through this exceptional exhibition, along with a selection of other works on display in the Gallery. Stay and mingle with the artists, have a nibble or a drink on us, and absorb the experience!
