Kowhai Lodge Tutukaka

Kowhai Lodge is entirely self sufficient and guests have the use of outdoor jacuzzi, barbeque, eating area, Petanque, croquet and outdoor chess, as well as the use of kayaks. Kowhai lodge is close to safe swimming beaches, excellent walks, local restaurants and recreational facilities.
The Lodge has ample parking, as well as provision for trailer boats which can be launched either off the ramp at Kowharewa Bay or at the Tutukaka Marina.

Tutukaka is the gateway to the world renowned Poor Knights Islands and local operators offer diving, snorkelling, kayaking and scenic trips.
We are an ideal base for visits further afield, whether to the Bay of Islands or the west coast to visit the Waipoua Forest, home of the giant kauri tree, Tane Mahuta.
