Fifth Annual Tohunga Tumau: Puanga Matariki Dinner

We are bringing Tohunga Tumau back to Northland for the fifth year! Showcasing the best of modern Māori cuisine, as part of our six-course dinner menu, including wine pairing! We are bringing you a lineup of some All-Star Māori Master Chefs to celebrate all things Northland, the Hangi Master Rewi Spraggon, Duke Head Chef Tama Salive, and his son Head Chef Liam Tito-Salive, MasterChef Winners Karena & Kasey Bird, NZ Chef of the Year Rex Morgan, and TV Chef Joe McLeod.

Join us for an incredible culinary experience of fine dining, including entertainment and culture. It will be a night to remember and includes a Canape Reception from 5.00pm followed by a 6-course meal, designed and prepared especially for Puanga Matariki by our master chefs who will each introduce their dish.

Each course will be matched with a superb Northland or Māori produced wine as well.

We will have awesome entertainment throughout the night, with our local musicians! Including our amazing Ngati Soul, who always brings the good tunes and atmosphere.
