Christmas Parade 2026

Whats On

Paihia Christmas Parade – Friday 4th December 2026

Theme: “The Circus Is Coming to Town”

The Paihia Christmas Parade is always a spectacular community celebration, with local schools, businesses, clubs, and groups putting in incredible effort to create vibrant, imaginative floats and a truly festive atmosphere through the heart of Paihia. It is FREE to enter a float. Entries can be made under either the Community or Business category. The aim of the afternoon is simple = to have fun, celebrate Christmas, and showcase the spirit of our amazing town.

This year’s theme, “The Circus Is Coming to Town,” invites participants to embrace the magic, colour, and excitement of the circus. Think bold costumes, playful performances, clowns, acrobats, circus animals even (as a throwback to circuses of the past), and anything that brings the big-top energy to life on the streets of Paihia.

We are also lucky enough to have Polly Pop It the clown helping to entertain the crowds with her special brand of clowning, magic, and bubbles! And of course Santa will be there with his little helpers, along with the famous lolly scramble, making it a highlight for families. Local shops, cafés, and restaurants will also be open, creating a lively evening in town.

Email info@businessboi.co.nz to register a float and receive the relevant documentation. It is FREE to enter!
