Candle Making Workshop

~Seasonal Sessions~ will be held to celebrate the seasons of the year. We will do crafts suited to the season, and invite the sharing of stories about what this time of year means for us in our own lives, in the cultures we have come from, and in this land we call home, Aotearoa.

This Seasonal Session is a Candlemaking Workshop to celebrate the Celtic holiday of Imbolc. Minerva has been making hand-dipped beeswax candles for many years, and is coming along to show us how between 3-5pm.

Imbolc is a recognition of the first stirrings of new life and spring, and alongside candlemaking, is celebrated by making wool dolls and 'Brigid crosses', telling poetry, and sharing sweet treats. All of which will be encouraged at this session!

We hope you can join us!

Koha is appreciated to cover beeswax and running costs.
