Sublime and Blink-182 were siblings separated by geography, but not by subculture or tone. Bound by he same DIY spirit, the same beach-skate-punk youth culture, venues, zines, tape-trading networks, same rebellion against the polished rock of the time and they were both shaped by the same influences.
