Acclaimed Irish band Beoga will make their long-awaited return to New Zealand in January 2026, performing a handful of intimate headline shows, alongside their stadium slot with Ed Sheeran. Known for their adventurous spirit and willingness to chart new musical territory, Beoga have redefined the possibilities of Irish traditional music.
Their global reach was cemented through collaborations with Ed Sheeran on the record-breaking ÷ (Divide) album, including the smash hits “Galway Girl” and “Nancy Mulligan.” Galway Girl alone has now surpassed 1.4 billion streams on Spotify.
After a four-year hiatus from touring and releasing music, Beoga made a powerful comeback earlier this year with their new album Phases, released in June. The band went on to perform at Glastonbury and Coachella, sharing the stage with Shaboozey, Alex Warren, and Ed Sheeran at his now-famous Old Phone Pub pop-up experience.
With a GRAMMY nomination, international tours, and collaborations with some of the biggest names in music, Beoga have established themselves as one of Ireland’s most exciting and genre-blurring acts. Their sound fuses accordion, fiddle, keyboards, guitars, and vocals into a vibrant, modern take on Irish roots music that feels both timeless and new.
