Young, ambitious, and talented this brand-new ensemble of some of the best young string players in the country is proudly supported and mentored by CMNZ, NZSQ, and the Adam Chamber Music Festival.

The Antipodes Quartet explores the vast possibilities of the string quartet, where individuality meets cohesion, and music becomes a conversation. Four distinct artistic voices in a programme that spans three centuries and multiple continents Joseph Haydn - String Quartet in F Major, op. 50 no. 5, "The Dream" Anton Webern - Langsamer Satz (Interval) Salina Fisher - Heal Maurice Ravel - String Quartet in F Major

Eden Annesley is a violinist who obtained her BMus (Distinction) at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University, with Associate Professor Michele Walsh, graduating as the highest-achieving third year student.

Māori/Japanese violinist, Mana Waiariki (Te Whānau-ā-Apanui) completed her BMus at Te Kōki-New Zealand School of Music with Helene Pohl.

Violist Tal Amoore is completing his BMus at Te Kōkī-New Zealand School of Music, with Peter Clark and Gillian Ansell. In 2019, he founded the Eden Quartet.

Nelson born cellist Lavinnia Rae resided in London for six years, following her undergraduate studies in NZ. In London she completed a MPerf with Distinction at the Royal College of Music with Richard Lester.
