Adult Learn to Sail Course

Are you interested in learning to sail or keen to brush up on your skills? We're offering a free course designed to get Club members who have an interest in learning to sail out on the water for some practical, hands on instruction covering the basic skills needed to sail a keelboat. No experience required. Those wanting to refresh their skills, including past participants, are welcome. Not a member of RBC? Now is a great time to join! The course will kick off on Tuesday, 19 September, 6:30 pm led by Jay Howell. Jay has extensive experience in keelboat sailing, regularly racing his boat E-Nine in both local and coastal events. He also spent several months earlier this year circumnavigating New Zealand on his Crowther 46 catamaran Enola. We will start with a 2-3 hour classroom session at the Club to go over sailing theory. The fire will be stoked and coffee and tea provided. We will then schedule sailing days for everyone to get out on the water to learn and have fun!
