2026 Hospice House Tour

The Hospice House Tour is a biennial event that is run by Whangārei Give For Good to raise funds for the wonderful North Haven Hospice in Whangārei. We’re looking forward to another amazing weekend as we come together to celebrate stunning architecture, inspiring interior design, spectacular views, creative touches, fabulous gardens and more!

This year’s tour will feature beautiful and inspiring homes in the Whangārei Heads and Pataua North and South areas, thanks to generous homeowners who are kindly opening their doors to support this fantastic cause. All ticket holders will be sent an itinerary prior to the weekend so you can plan your fun day out :)

One Day Tickets: Following the success of our 'One Day Tickets' from 2024, we're once again asking you to choose either a Saturday ticket (31st October) or a Sunday ticket (1st November), to help ensure the weekend runs smoothly for everyone. When you book, make sure your friends and family are all booking for the same day!

Early Bird Tickets go in the Draw to Win! Purchase your Hospice House Tour ticket before the end of September to be in to win a fabulous day trip with Dive Tutukaka to the Poor Knights Islands! Enjoy a day of snorkelling, paddle boarding and kayaking at these world-famous islands aboard A Perfect Day (ticket includes one adult and one child).

VIP Tickets: This year we're excited to offer special VIP tickets for the first time! Enjoy a truly memorable experience, including: • Transport from town to each house on the Tour • A fabulous lunch served in a beautiful private home, prepared by an experienced and qualified chef • An exclusive VIP goodie bag • Delicious treats along the way • Plus more still to be announced! VIP tickets are available on Saturday only - select Saturday and then choose VIP to upgrade!

Deliciously Fresh Lunch Boxes: Simplify your day by pre-purchasing a delicious lunch for only $30! The feedback from previous tours has been fantastic - you won't be disappointed! And all proceeds from both ticket sales and lunches go directly to North Haven Hospice. Just opt for a lunch 'Add on' when you buy your tickets.

Lunch includes a delicious home-style Ploughman's sandwich (or crackers for the GF option) - made with fresh bread and full of the best in fresh and delicious fillings, a sweet treat (cake or slice), water and other goodies. We also offer Gluten Free or Vegetarian options (may contain nuts and/or seeds).

Exclusive Hospice House Tour Tea Towels: As an extra fundraiser for North Haven Hospice, this year we're printing beautiful locally designed tea towels to commemorate this year's event! They’re a perfect way to support Hospice for just $15, and are available for pickup on the day.

Tectrax Boat: We have an exciting addition to the tour this year, with an optional electric boat crossing available at the Pataua Estuary! Cross the estuary in style with a ride in an incredible electric amphibious boat from the team at Tectrax. Remember to bring along some cash ($5 trip each way), or you can also choose a stroll over the bridge for free.

Other Important Information: - Please note that children under the age of 13 will not be permitted entry to this event. - Due to limited parking and turning space at some homes, private buses are not permitted. - Please note that wheelchair access is unavailable. - As this year's tour includes coastal locations, attendees should wear sturdy footwear and be prepared for some short walks.
