Creating an export plan

Posted on June 16, 2017

A new Export Essentials programme developed by NZTE in partnership with private sector facilitators helps businesses gain the tools and confidence to start their export journey.

“These workshops on how to create an export plan have been built from the ground up to meet real business needs,” says Northland Inc Business Growth Manager Derryn Mawson.

Export Essentials consists of online work, followed by a collaborative two-day workshop, where participants will learn proven methods for successful exporting and leave with practical tools that they can apply directly to their business.

"The workshops have limited space and will fill quickly, so anyone interested should register early to secure their spot."

NZTE is delivering workshops in Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Nelson and Christchurch. In in September 2017 and February 2018 Northland Inc hopes to bring NZTE to Whangarei for two pre-workshop information sessions to help business owners assess whether the workshop is suitable for their needs.

Northland Inc is also looking at providing a van to take participants to the Auckland workshop to alleviate travel and parking hassles.

The Auckland workshop dates are:

21 June and 5 July 2017

18 October and 1 November 2017

28 March and 11 April 2018
